i liked doing the test- it was fairly easy, probably just because for unit one. but one question, the one about the school 8th grade going to D.C. surprised me- it didn't see to do anything with alegebra!
ReplyDeletei think everybody enjoyed being able to work on homework during the test. i wished other teachers did that. thanks!
Hi Chisu - as we move through the year, you'll see how algebra can be used to solve questions like the 8th grade trip problem. You are used to solving problems like that using arithmetic and trial and error... ultimately, algebra will provide you a more consistent approach.
ReplyDeleteOh, and just to clarify, you worked on your hw AFTER the test, not during the test :)
