ReplyDelete1) be "fluent" in the coordinate plane, order pairs, quadrants, the graphing of horizontal and vertical lines - DO NOT BE THE ONE THAT GETS THESE WRONG, oh the terrible fate that awaits (JK)!
2) Know how to graph using a table values
3) Know how to recognize a solution (or solutions) to a linear equation
4) Graph and INTERPRET real-life problems in the coordinate plane (i.e. mowing the lawn & the tee-shirt problem)
5) Know when to use a table of values and when to use the INTERCEPTS METHOD (aka thumb cover-up)
6) Stop laughing at my thumbs!
